Automated Industrial Package Handling Vehicle & Systems

To meet this challenge, BAMS focused on optimising the overall operational efficiency and reducing dust generation of the “FOUP Stocker – Front Opening Unified Pods”.

BAMS leverages its expertise in fluid dynamics to conduct airflow simulations of the customers products to identify pain points. Subsequently, we designed aerodynamic fairings for OHT and STK to reduce the generation of aerodynamic turbulence and resistance during high-speed transportation down the production line. After multiple iterations of fluid simulation verification and design adjustments, the final product successfully reduced dust residue by 12.2% and reduced resistance by an average of 52.27%.
